What is Rotary?

Rotary International is an international organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary Club of Kavre Banepa is located at the heart of Kavre District Banepa. RC Kavre Banepa had been chartered on 14 November, 2001 with the purpose to service above self. The club had been recognized with the club no. 056780 RI District Nepal-Bhutan. It had been initiated by an organization of active and professional leaders who are prior to educationalist, doctors, engineers, proprietors, corporate officers, managers, executives, leaders of a business or profession within our community. The club meets every friday in Banepa Village Resort, Banepa at 5PM.

Rotary History & Scope

The first Rotary Club was organized in Chicago in 1905 by Paul P. Harris. This Club met in rotation at the offices of its members, hence the name “Rotary Club” evolved.
